pinky swear

quibily:

Every time I watch the scene in Figgins’ office after Karofsky’s suicide attempt and Will talks about how he thought Dave would hurt Kurt when, all along, they should have worried about him hurting himself, I think about Finn.

I think about what a gift Finn has because he saw this in Santana when no one else did—and he didn’t need to hear about her attempting suicide to get there like Will did.

He told her that she deals with her struggle as a social pariah by attacking others, and then he says, “Some day, that might not be enough, and you’ll start attacking yourself.”  And then he set out to make sure she knew she had support.  Something Dave never felt he had.

This boy has a freakin’ gift, people.  It’s not as easy to detect as Rachel’s nor as easy to place in his post-high school career, but it’s there, just the same.
